A BBQ was held in aid of Breast Cancer at the Molteno Memorial Hall in Fortingall on Sunday 2 September. For once the weather was dry and so the chefs were able to cook without getting soaked.
Between sixty to eighty people attended and everyone seemed to have a good time. The food was plentiful, the wine flowed and much chatting was done. In all the event raised £1,250.05 for Breast Cancer.

The organisers would like to thank everyone who attended and gave so generously. Thanks also must go to the Fortingall hotel and the House of Menzies for their generous gifts of prizes for the raffle, and to all the organisers who also donated raffle prizes along with the salads, sweets and their time.
It is hoped that this may become an annual event with money being raised for different charities. Contact is invited by the organisers from anyone with a charity that they would wish to see favoured in this way.
